Well, I would first like to thank my sister(Kelley) for turning me onto this place. Anywhere I can express myself through writing is always good for me. I will try to post as often as I can,but I must say working as a nurse,raising 3 kids alone and running a business I am figuring out that my time is short. Here I will post poetry,thoughts,words of encouragement and wisdom and if I get alittle pissed well then I will post that too. LoL. So welcome to my spot for expression. I hope that you can enjoy it.

- Born in rural Tennessee, Raven Starr has been writing since she could hold a pencil. This ex-model for Model Against AIDS began by writing poetry, then honed her skills to include two plays, The Wrong Choice and Running Scared but Free, After the death of her mother, Raven wrote the poem “The Otherside,” which was published in the UK in the anthology When The Light Comes and earned her nominations for Poet of the Year for three years running by The International Poet Society. In addition to being a multi-published and award-winning author, Ms. Starr has published her first young adult series, Book of the Ancients Lost Guardian through Muse it up Publishing. And is working on a sequel to Vampire's Embrace. Besides being a passionate writer, poet, nurse and ex-model, Raven Starr is a mother of three beautiful kids.
